Emmanuel Beyens is a painter based in Brussels. He creates both contemporary figurative paintings and portraits.

He has been painting for over 30 years. He attended an academy in Brussels, then he perfected his skills in academic figurative art at the Vlamish Classical Atelier in Bruges, then following Master Classes at the Academy of Art in Florence. . In 2011, Emmanuel Beyens won the 1st Prize for Painting at the Salon International du Portrait with his painting "The Maharadja". 

His interest in portraiture never left him. Favoring oil painting, he paints in the manner of 19th century portraitists, each portrait aiming to capture the true personality of the subject.
